About Old Town Hall House

Owners Jennie and James Walker have recently converted it into a boutique B&B and also hold a Friday evening Supper Club. The couple welcomed their first guests in the autumn of 2014 and since then have achieved the coveted 5* rating by the AA, as well as a special award for their outstanding breakfast and dinner!

Four beautifully furnished double rooms provide luxurious accommodation in this stunning part of the world.

All of our rooms are en-suite, with either high quality power showers or a generous bath, fluffy white Egyptian cotton towels and luxurious toiletries.

Beds are king sized, hand made traditional Norfolk cast iron, with top quality pocket sprung mattresses, high thread count Egyptian cotton sheets and duck down duvet and pillows. Rooms have tea and coffee making facilities, Roberts wifi radios, and access to free wifi.

After working as a chef in some of Europe’s finest restaurants, including the Ritz in London and Lucas Carton in Paris, James is delighted to be cooking for guests at Old Town Hall House. His cooking style reflects his love of food and the natural flavours of high quality, local ingredients.

Residents can opt to dine at the Friday evening Supper Club for just £30 per person, or on a Wednesday or Sunday for £25 per person. The tempting menus change with the seasons and make full use of the wealth of fresh ingredients available locally. Ask at the time of booking for details.

Special dietary requirements can be catered for. Old Town Hall House is also fully licensed and offers a small, but carefully chosen list of wines, beers and aperitifs / digestifs in partnership with their local Master of Wine, Mark Lynton.

This part of the North Norfolk Coast is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) renowned for its endless horizons; vast, unspoilt beaches; and unique saltmarshes, which are a haven for all kinds of birdlife.

Stroll through the reed beds at Cley Marshes; enjoy afternoon tea at the iconic Cley Windmill; visit the Pinkfoot Gallery for fine art and sculpture; or snap up local stoneware at the Made in Cley studio.
