Staying at The Old Forge means you are based in Thursford, home of The Thursford Christmas Spectacular but also close by to the Beaches and Estate of Holkham, The pretty village of Holt is Not far and you can arrange seal watching trips at Blakeney point.

Our Rooms are 4*AA and English Tourist Board rated and the accommodation is in the older 14th century part of the Old Forge. Each room has tea and coffee making facilities all the rooms have digital television and wi fi connections.

As professional restaurateurs we pride ourselves on the quality of our breakfast using local produce from our renowned local butchers and farmers.

When you stay at The Old Forge you are guaranteed a warm welcome from us both as we privately own our business, no Managers at the door to welcome you in, just us. There are lovely walks nearby and residents can enjoy a wonderful seafood meal full of local seafood produce, heart warming puddings and a coffee or liqueur in the cosy bar. Colin loves to have a friendly chat with the residents in the evenings and of course there is no worry about drinking and driving!!.
