About Hempstead Hall - Holt Bed and Breakfast

A warm welcome and a relaxing peaceful atmosphere awaits you at this attractive 19th Century country house, quietly set on a 300 acre farm, just 2 miles off the A148 and the Georgian town of Holt with its quaint little shops tucked away in quiet back streets - a must for browsers and antique hunters.

The house and its surroundings are very picturesque and guests can walk on the farm and in the gardens, feed the ducks chickens and donkey. Look out for the barn owl on the meadows and for the wild deer grazing on the farm. For the more adventurous there is a 5 mile circular walk through the farm and Holt country park.


A lovely day can be enjoyed with a visit to the seal sanctuary at Blakeney Point by boat or a steam train ride from Holt to the seaside town of Sheringham. The North Norfolk Coast is just a short drive away with it's sandy or shingle beaches and Cley Nature Reserve for bird watchers is about 6 miles.

Tea/Coffee facilities, TV, Hair dryer and alarm clock are provided in rooms.
