About The George Hotel Cley - Restaurant

We work closely with as many local suppliers as possible, particularly the Smokehouse, just a few doors away. Being near the coast we also try to offer the best in Seafood dining.

All food from our restaurant is local fresh produce and is served all day, with homemade daily specials.

The team of chefs here create a lunchtime snack menu and a set a-la-carte dinner menu.

A range of three real ales (Cask Mark accredited) and a 28-bin wine list, with 11 available by the glass complete the picture.

Curry & Pint Night: Every Thursday throughout the year. £9.95 includes a Pint or glass of house wine.

Here at Cley-next-the-Sea, with it’s narrow roads, no streetlights and a traditional red phone-box, you will find a beautiful, idyllic, north Norfolk brick and flint village that is bursting with character and filled with local culture. No wonder so many people are enchanted by this stretch of coastline.

Dogs are welcome in the bar and front restaurant, we have a great kiddies menu and on the cold Autumn/ winter days we have a roaring open fire going to warm up the cockles of your heart.

Set in an enviable position overlooking expanses of unspoilt salt marsh, Cley is a ‘twitcher’s’ paradise, which the George duly acknowledges
