The accommodation building is eco friendly, with a sedum roof that not only ensures the rooms are warm in winter and naturally cool in summer, but also collects and recycles rainwater, using it to flush the toilets.

All the first floor rooms have a spacious balcony with great southerly views over the Stiffkey valley and the hills beyond and ground floor rooms have a terrace and garden area.

Room rates can be found on our website and depend on room type, season and whether you want to include a delicious dinner. All room tariffs include a full English breakfast.

The rooms are extremely well equipped and comprise six doubles, three twins and a family double room with a comfortable sofa bed. The Attic Suite and Suite 12 are both recently converted, well appointed and sleep up to five.

Dogs welcome in some rooms.

Our menu changes regularly and features locally sourced ingredients the specials are different everyday. All meals are freshly prepared by our skilled kitchen team and all offer great value.

In season Crabs and Lobsters from Wells-Next-The-Sea are a speciality and in winter it’s local Mussels. There’s a children’s menu and a great selection of wines, gins, beers and ales.
