We came away for NYE as a family and it was ideal! Really good location and completely left to enjoy our stay. Ideal for 6 adults together and even the dog had a great time. The property is well equipped apart from an iron and ironing board but it wasn't a huge deal as we were only there for a few days. We would/will recommend to friends and family. We would even love to come back again!
“New Year Break”

We booked this as a family break. The house was immaculate and very comfortable for us all, we were a group of 6 (3 couples) the house had everything you needed except for an iron and ironing board but luckily we had our own. We found the location to be excellent, close to all main attractions, beaches, pubs and restaurants . Would highly recommend this accommodation and would return in the summer to enjoy the beautiful beaches that are close by.

“Fabulous stay in Norfolk”
Reviewed 3 Oct 2016
We had a long weekend at Woodpecker Lodge. The Lodge is maintained to a high standard, and equiped with everything you will need - a real home from home. Martin met us (and our small dog) when we arrived with the keys, showed us around the Lodge and made us feel very welcome. The pack of essentials and wine were a lovely touch too ! We'd recommend Woodpecker Lodge for anyone seeking an extremely comfortable stay in the area, in a fantastically quiet and secluded spot in Norfolk. We would definitely have Woodpecker Lodge high up in our list of places to stay when we return to Norfolk in the future

The property was spotless and to a very high standard. All rooms were spacious, the kitchen had all the things you would need. There was also a lovely enclosed garden which you can relax and have a BBQ in. I would definitely recommend a stay there.

“Immaculate and peaceful Lodge suitable for disabled person” Reviewed 29 Jun 2016
I took my Mother, who walks with a frame, on holiday to this property. It is exactly as described in the literature - but even smarter than we expected. Access into the property, the ground floor and the decking area are all easy to reach for a disabled person. The downstairs shower room is well fitted out for a disabled person. The Lodge is immaculately clean, with everything you could need in the kitchen. 2 of the bedrooms are enormous, and the third bedroom is a reasonable size. There was a basket with food treats to welcome us and the owners were helpful. The enclosed lawned garden area accessed from the living area is very private and a haven for wildlife - we saw 2 varieties of Woodpeckers and a Muntjac deer in the garden. There is easy access to many tourist attractions within a short drive of the Lodge. I would definitely recommend a stay in this property.
“Lovely holiday home” Reviewed 27 Jun 2016
We stayed at the lodge for a week with two very young children, and had a great time. The property is new and was spotless when we arrived - cleaned to a very high standard. The facilities were great and just what we needed for our holiday. The location was great for the coast and Norwich. Our hosts provided a very welcoming hamper upon arrival with homemade bread, wine, local jam, butter, biscuits, eggs and milk! We shall definitely be returning again in the future - thank you. The only comment I have is there was not a highchair as listed so we brought our own with us.

The facilities were perfect - walk in shower with seat, disabled toilet, large ground-floor bedroom, washing machine, dishwasher, TVs in every bedroom. The whole place was spotlessly clean throughout and bedding, towels, tea towels and a lovely welcome basket were included. We could not have asked for more.

We would highly recommend this super, high quality accommodation in the village of Honing.
