Whelk Coppers Tea Rooms was established in 1992 by the present owners Sandra & Peter Foster. This family run business can be found right on the West Promenade (on the coastal path) in Sheringham, open 7 days a week serving breakfasts, light lunches, afternoon teas or coffee and homemade cakes.

All cakes, scones and soup are made on the premises and dietary requirements, i.e. gluten free etc can be catered for on request. Our 3 tier afternoon tea is a must. Dogs are welcome with water bowls available.

The Tea Rooms are panelled in Indian Teak from a Royal Navy Frigate built in Calcutta in 1820 and in winter an open fire welcomes our visitors. The amazing wrought Iron gates were reputedly designed by Walt Disney, a friend of the original owner.

Whelk Coppers Tea Rooms offers cost effective B & B with beautiful seafront views from just £35.00 per person per night. This includes a Full English Breakfast or any variation of that. We have one Double Room with en-suite facilities and one Family Room with a double and a single bed which has its own private bathroom. Both our rooms have televisions and beverage facilities.

All in all a place not to be missed on any visit to Sheringham.
