About Scarning Dale Holiday Cottages

A wonderful heavily timbered house with Inglenook fireplaces that dates way back to the 17th century. In the grounds are the remains of what is reputed to be part of the Abbey of Wendling, founded by Sir William de Wendling in 1267.

For a delightfully different holiday experience, An overnight stay in peaceful countryside or an unusual venue for that special party.

Guests at Scarning Dale may use the heated indoor swimming pool (free use for 1 hour per day, swimming hats required), play snooker on a full size table or table tennis. The 25 acres of pretty countryside surrounding Scarning Dale is a bird watchers paradise and an inspiration to painters.

Rose Cottage

Sleeps 2 persons in double bedroom with en-suite shower room and toilet, lounge and galley kitchen. This is suitable for partially disabled. Non smoking. Night storage heaters. There is a heating charge of £15 from 1st November until 1st April inclusive .

Honeysuckle Cottage

Sleeps 2 persons in double bedroom with en-suite, galley kitchen ,lounge/diner. Non smoking. Night storage heaters. There is a heating charge of £15 from 1st November until 1st April inclusive.

The Lodge

Sleeps 6 persons in one double and 2 twin rooms with bathroom upstairs. There is a shower, toilet, lounge, dining room and kitchen downstairs. Extra persons can be accommodated but there will be an extra charge per person. Non smoking. Oil fired central heating throughout. There is a heating charge of £25 from 1st November until 1st April inclusive

Lodge Cottage

Sleeps 2 persons in double bedroom with en-suite, kitchen, lounge/diner. Non smoking. One central heating radiator and one night storage heater in bedroom and 2 night storage heaters in lounge and kitchen. There is a heating charge of £15 from 1st November until 1st April inclusive .

The Cottage

Sleeps 4 in one double bedroom and one twin room, bathroom, kitchen and lounge. Non smoking. Night storage heating with electric fire in lounge. There is a heating charge of £20 from 1st November until 1st April inclusive .

The Cabin

Sleeps 4 in one double and one twin room. Shower room and toilet, galley kitchen, dining area and lounge. Non smoking. Night storage heaters. There is a heating charge of £20 from 1st November until 1st April inclusive .

Dale Cottage

Sleeps 4 persons in one double and one twin room. Both bedrooms have en-suite shower and toilet. Kitchen, dining area and lounge. Central heating. There is a heating charge of £20 from 1st November to 1st April inclusive. Not suitable for dogs.
