About The Two Lifeboats
The Two Lifeboats was originally a coffee shop and Fisherman’s Mission circa 1720.
The public house is named after the Augusta & Duncan lifeboats that rescued a crew of eight from the wreck of the Norwegian brig Caroline on December 6th 1882.
Steeped in history and fully refurbished to a very high standard we opened to the public in June 2012.
We've reduced the price of our newly refurbished rooms, so it's now even better value to come and enjoy our fantastic sea views and friendly pub atmosphere.
Coming soon, gift vouchers. What better way to treat your friends and family than by treating them to food and accommodation by the seaside!
We will soon be announcing our Christmas Fayre - the perfect way to celebrate the festive season with your friends and loved ones.
Bed & Breakfast available.
The refurbishment of our letting rooms is complete. We can now offer: 1 single, 1 twin, and 4 double rooms. All rooms are en-suite and have a sea view.
