North Walsham Tourist Information

North Walsham

An Anglo-Saxon town which prospered in the medieval period thanks to the wool industry and was the site of a battle that ended the Peasant Revolt in 1381, North Walsham is seven and half miles north of Wroxham and south of Cromer.

The Bittern Line railway serves North Walsham, and travels between Norwich and Sheringham. This makes North Walsham a fantastic place to look for accommodation that will allow you to access the beautiful Norfolk Broads and stunning North Norfolk Coast without difficulty. North Walsham Hotels provide a comfortable, welcoming and hassle free place to stay whilst experiencing the local area.

If you looking for something to entertain the children, nearby Ten Pin bowling, Stompers Play Centre and Victory Swim Centre are great options and of course, during the winter there is a great rugby club,  North Walsham Vikings competitively placed in the leagues providing great entertainment and welcoming cheer at the weekend
